Full Course (4 hrs or 6 hrs - depending on the level of detail required)

This course is instructor driven and covers the legislation, information delivery including labels, MSDSs, and training requirements. The presentation uses labels and MSDSs from the workplace, and discusses the hazards of the more common materials. Occupational health and control of hazards are also related to the materials in use. A pocket guide to WHMIS will be included, and a workbook is included for each participant.

Review Course (2 hrs)

The review course consists of a review of the symbols, labels, and MSDSs with examples from your workplace, and discusses personal safety. With experienced workers a video can be used to stimulate discussion; it shows what can happen if proper procedures are not followed. A pocket guide will be included, and a review workbook is included for each participant
